Not surprising but interesting..........depends on who is coming in this summer and if Klopp sees Can as dispensable for the right price
Well was thinking more if you wanted to make the midfield more solid. Drop Firm and play the recognised midfield 3 with Cout pushed wide left again. Strongest line up, prob Mane & Salah either side of Firm with Gini Can Cout midfield. But it'd good to have the options and personnel to switch things up depending on the game etc. Gini Can/Hendo Lallana Salah Mane Cout
Would be a shame if Can went now. I think he was one of our most consistent players in the last half dozen games. young and can still improve a lot. Klopp seems to never want to guarantee a certain position to his front 6.....he wants them much more fluid. I think Can wants a DM role
Southampton holding out for £70m for the defender, they did the same thing for Lovern and many players we bought from them. Has he got a release clause?
Liverpool transfer news: Juventus make contact over Emre Can signing - Di Marzio LIVERPOOL midfielder Emre Can could be on his way to Juventus, according to reports
6 months of playing ok gets him a deal with Juventus. They wanna give us 30 million plus then ill take him to Italy myself.
I'm not sure one way or the other on Can. Most of this season I was getting frustrated with him and not seeing any obvious improvement or his overall game maturing. He did have a good end to the season though, seemed to put more energy in and we got more out of him. If we get a good offer from Juve its a tough call, and dependent on incoming. If Lucas leaves and the doubts over Hendo's fitness persist, then keeping Can would make more sense.
Has he even had that many games where he's stood out? I think they're after him on the basis of seeing his wonder-goal on YouTube - his agent's probably sent the link to every major club in the world.
If we went for him the same time Southampton bought him, maximum we're going to pay £12m.How come we failed to identify him them?. Southampton will always try to drive a hard bargain, that is the only way they can make money.
But the Reds have clearly set up camp in Rome over the course of the season as they have taken a liking to Lazio star Keita Balde, according to ESPN.
