Just caught up with this thread...lol. on a real..iv'e got one of them 15 quid Samsung's from Tesco's, ive dropped it several times...no bother, i don't bat an eyelid. I make phone calls and Texts and it has never done my rep no harm. Infact the girls think i'm cool because i'm different. They dont know its because i cant get tracked on it when im cutting my deals. If it ever goes missing and you find it..a simple hold the 'star' key to unlock and it would be like giving you the keys to Hugh Hefner's mansion.
Don't know. Maybe they are tied into long contracts (ironically) in terms of leases etc ? It makes no sense for an EE shop not to be able to offer me a deal anywhere comparible to one with EE that I can get through a quick google search.
They wont do that with everyone though. They have been trying to get me to change my contract for years now, as i only pay £26 pcm and get unlimited data, minutes and texts...similar contract is worth a lot these days...
Some of the older contracts are now seen as being too generous, so they won't improve them. I think that they were trying to stop them a while ago, but I'm not sure how successful they were. Not very, judging by your experience.
Not really. Already mentioned, Vodafone do 20gb data (which might as well be unlimited) and unlimited everything else for £20 and it can all be used abroad now too with them.
The Arsene Wenger, "I nearly signed him!", squad is amazing. please log in to view this image Not sure about the formation, though.
Nope they cant although it depends on people, they tried all kinds.of tactics and the last one was they are getting rid of that contract so I have to choose a new and when i said its a binding contract between them and myself, they cant get rid of it without my consent and it worked lol
never the same....there probably is fair usage policy, cant tether or you pay extra and so on...unlimited is unlimited mate there has been times where i have used 6GB or more a week....

No fair usage, no tether limit (used it as home internet for two months while my phone line was installed by the snails at openreach when I moved house). How do you get through 6gb in one week without tethering and using it as your home Internet? Even then, have you ever got close to 20gb in a month?
i got through it tethering in various places in uk and Ireland... I have used more than that in a month at times...i work in IT project management and the files I download and upload can be massive lot of the times and working remotely helps having a phone with unlimited data to be honest and for £26 its a bargain
