I would gloat but it's seems once again it's just a matter of time. I'm caring less and less each season about the players. There's no point. My Dad (who's no spring chicken) just gets to like a player and I then inform him they're off. No more heroes anymore....

I mentioned this keeper already on this board. Everton won't miss with this transfer. Might take him some time to get used to England, but when on form he can be unplayable.

It is strange but I look back on the league 1 days with such fond memories. I love to reminisce about the simple games.

I am 22 and only started supporting saints at about 11 years old so the league 1 years were the first time I witnessed success as a saints fan!

NOLITO BEMOANS WEATHER

Nolito has revealed he would like to return to Spain after just one season at Manchester City.

However, the Spaniard insists a recent photo showing him with Sevilla sporting director Arias was a coincidence.

"I went to have a coffee and bumped into him by chance," he told El Transistor.

On his future at City, Nolito added: “I am under the contract, so the club will decide, but I want to leave. I haven't played in six months. I will do everything possible to make Spain's World Cup squad.
