    there better be some news of us making a move for at least 1 player never mind 2 before the window closes. our strikeforce was weak before we forced to sell carrol, now look at it...bah

    d=not to sure bout elmander but it would be imrpovement to what we left with. thou i do tink ranger has it in him in next few years to be decent prem striker

    Anyone seen Elmander's photo on Wiki? <laugh>

    He's 29 and cost BW £8.2m. Not what we need.

    Our strikers are fine, take Carroll's goals away from our tally and we're still 15th highest scorers and that's despite Carroll taking up 19 of our 23 games. We've still got plenty of goals in us, more than enough to keep us up.

    Still 15th highest scorers? That really won't be good enough when our defensive, minus the last four games, have been leaking goals for the last 3 months. Any team who wants to survive needs goals in it. Ameobi, Ranger, Lovenkrands and Best combined don't have as many league goals as Carroll this season. We need Carroll's amount of goals, and while he won't provide that now, we need to bring in someone who can provide that.

    I agree with AG we still have enough to survive, add HBA onto the next few weeks an we have enough to survive!, in the summer we can build

    just the one thing i cant understand is why now?? what can he possibly achieve with liverfool in the next 6months?
    i hope both him an Suarez flop but i dnt see what they have that is better than us at this current moment in time...

    Maybe this is the time for Cavenaghi and fulfill his lifelong ambition of wearing the no.9! Shame he's gone back to Argentina! If only Carroll went sooner! Another reason why the blokes a prize winning ****!
