    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/0/general-election-2017-polls-odds-tracker-latest/

    latests polls shows:

    a) ukip now irrelevant.
    b) Tories at 44%slightly up from 43% on day of calling election
    c) labour at 36% up from 25%
    d) libs irrelevant on 10% or 85 or something

It seems to me that this suggests a 2 party system but the tory vote has he;d firm and they will get a majority, albeit not much better than before. Theres no swing form tories to anyone. its all just unknowns saying labour.

It also occurs to me that May's abject debating skills has cost her a landslide

the issue at the ballot box is when people see labour candidate will they think corbyn is unelectable and switch?

You should be concerned about the fact he's making silly promises everywhere and anywhere to buy votes and doesn't care that none of it stacks up.

he is mostly concerned with not having a debacle of an election.

He's going to make a million jobs btw and come up with ways to manage immigration so you can hire great people in but not low paid.. .somehow.. and the list goes on and on.

Yup...undeliverable promises from his utopian wishlist.

If he somehow stumbles into number 10? Like trump he's sidelined anyone in the party that knows how to run a govt and raised up the loons and sycophants.

It'll be on the hoof govt...lurching from one disaster to another.

It makes me seeth that this is the alternative to the Tories...UK is ****ed either way

If he does i'd also not be that concerned as long as nobody actually expect him to do anything.

the worst case is he sells Scotland to the snp for thier 50 odd seats (should they get them)

Yeah it is. Banning it is the only good decision the Tories have made during this election. <laugh>

When has a government ever delivered all their promises? Of course, a lot of what he says is like dreamland and they will struggle to get a lot of it through the door. But right now it's a better direction than the Tories. Personally I hope he is able to follow through with the Corporation tax hike, if he does then it will still be lower than any of the G9/G20 countries, unlike May who is in bed with these fat cats. Yet, these companies are going to move to where? He has a massive hill to climb regarding the NHS and Schools so he's probably ****ed there, but it's ****ed under May regardless.

Yeah, he's not your ideal PM, but the last 2 years he's been made out to be some complete inept candidate which is exaggerated by the Tory/Murdoch press. But I'd sleep a lot better at night stopping that witch remaining PM.

When was the last time the UK voted for a PM we actually wanted anyway? Cameron was voted in twice because he had no opposition. Probably Blair? He was just just charismatic and a great speaker, captured the nation, arguably a great politician but a terrible PM. Started off well, then you have the intervention of Afghan, Iraq, lies, more lies and deregulation of the banks which inevitably makes you question even the good things he ever did.
