    Important to note that this is really going to level the playing field significantly over time.

    Even last place got close to 2/3rds the revenue of 1st place. With TV revenue being an ever more important chunk of clubs income, eventually there will be no big clubs and small clubs.

    I imagine that clubs will want more for players knowing that the bidding club is loaded.

    No wonder there is talk about bids for Messi, the PL teams can afford him.
