Ok Casillas but the rest have not turned down moves to England while at Real or Barcelona.

And while the weather in Spain may be nice and all that the tax breaks and lower cost of living may become a thing of the past soon enough.

plenty of teams bid for ozil including us when at munich, we big for villa too but got laughed out.

Dont get me wrong I would love to sign these types of players, but unfortunetly england is not seen as tho most talented league in the world, who knows one day it might be, i doubt it though!

The fact remains it is the best league on earth.

Barcelona and Real are the only good Spanish sides. England has 4 5 maybe 6 good sides.

All the talent signed in Spain goes to those 2 clubs. No wonder the league is such a joke. In England it is spread out and in all fairness comas, if a player is concerned about rain......then I dont want that fairy playing in England. Soft bastards.

To be honest, I don't get those who seem to **** themselves silly over the La Liga but continue to watch the "inadequate" Premier League. If our leagues so bad then feck off and watch La Liga and leave the prem to those who enjoy watching it.

Depends what you class as skill.

Passing it round for 90 minutes is not skillful, it's boring. Barcalona can pass the best, that's why they are top of the league.

Apart from the top 2 of La Liga, they are not very good at scoring goals (from what I have watched) whereas in the Premier League, the top 10 sides have a lot of goals to their name.

To be fair Owen Coyle does have his teams pass the ball when they can. Wenger himself said of Bolton and Coyle:

That's mainly because most of the top players in the world at the moment are Spanish, or Latino. Ronaldo, Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Fabregas, Villa, Casillas, Valdes, Pique, Puyol, Aguero all from Latino nations. If there were top class English players playing in Spain and Utd went in for them I reckon we'd have a fair chance of prying them away, particularly given the rate at which Real spit players out.

Apart from Ozil, the last few major transfers of players from England to Spain, or players turning down England for Spain, were all Latino players (Ronaldo, Fabregas, Villa, Sanchez). That's just natural, players tend to gravitate back to their home country or a country that is more familiar. Until we start training talented English players, who can actually cope with the move abroad, then the same pattern will repeat itself over and over.

If the worlds best player was german or in fact any nation apart from english, he would join baraca or real over united, that i am afraid is a fact. I am the loyalist of united fans but to think otherwise would just be stupid

Yes, we hoof-balled it (obviously) against Arsenal at the Reebok and we did ****. <doh>

EDIT - Add Man Utd to that list, last season anyway.
