If it comes out that he changed his mind the new CEO should be fired and Michael Edwards too. Especially Michael Edwards
Roma, however, value Salah closer to £40million and there will be much work for Liverpool to do to secure his release. (Dominic King)
Where are you all getting these links from I got mine from a magic 8 ball Think they are just as reliable
Like saying van dijk is a truly awesome player and I'm delighted.... we nearly signed him until Michael Edwards cocked it up.
Sure does have electric pace. Him and Mane will scare teams at the back. Both seems to like to play down the right so would have to move one of them over to the left, or maybe play Mane centrally?
Reports stating roma rejected our opening bid for salah and want closer 40 million for him. At that price i would rather we go for lucas moura who i am sure will be on the move with the arrival of new players. I have to also mention virgil van dijk imho there is no way he is worth 50 million yet fans are begging we sign him wtf people? i would rather we passed on him all together and focused our efforts elsewhere.

It's relative. Of course he's not worth £50m or higher. No footballer is. Demand will drive price as it always does and there is a big demand for him. Who else could we buy? There's an argument to just bring Sahko back the fold I guess but if Klopp doesn't accept that, what price a solid CB pairing? I'd spend £50m in a heartbeat if I could afford it. Good shout on Moura....£40m on Salah feels high....my guess is it'll be more like £30-35m and I actually believe he will come.
Liverpool have reached an agreement with Roma winger Mohamed Salah, 24, but the Serie A runners-up are asking for a £30.4m fee for the Egyptian. (Gazzetta dello Sport via Metro)
Ah well.. sure you'd not get De Geas left nipple for that now. 25 for ox or 30 on him. Though.... comparisons like that can let you justify all sorts of stupidity. E.g. lambert or etto or hey balotelli is yoynger and better yeah? Does salah stack up as a top 4 player who will change our fortunes breaking down defences?
I haven't watched much of salah, but the reviews of him from others say that he's a speed merchant but his finishing is iffy. Others point to his goal record and speed. If he is quick but his finishing is average, maybe we should look elsewhere. I'm not excited by the signing but that's not because I think he's poor or anything (like I said I don't know much about him) it's simply because I haven't watched him enough. The one I was/am most excited about was VVD. Keita looks interesting too. If I'm being honest though I haven't been that excited by players we sign since we were on the verge of signing Suarez. So any transfer we make I compare to that, which admittedly is unfair.
