    Just looked on Booking.com and there were still some beds to be had. Its not the obvious choice but it isn't a terrible solution

    That's true - well kind of - you can often get the Barton taxis to do the journey but you need to book in advance

    There's a gallery/installation space open at 7 Whitefriargate between 12 and 3pm today documenting local people's stories and memories of WW2 and examining the impact this time has had on the identity of Hull today! This is part of an MA course at the university of Hull. Pop down if you're free!

    There will be a Grand Orange Lodge of England march from Paragon Square at 13-45 to a wreath laying ceremony at the King Billy Statue and return to an indoor event at Tigers Lair this Saturday featuring the Heroes of the Somme flute band. @HullLoyalRSC
