He had a slump, but that won't be permanent. It's hard (and expensive) to get a top keeper. I'd rather we concentrated on some other areas.
I agree it's not a priority, but it's a position we could easily improve on imo. If someone's willing to offer more than what he paid, I reckon we should snap their hand off, espescially when you factor in his injury problems.
Like who? There's only one keeper out there who I think would both be an upgrade and available and that's Pickford. And he would cost £20mill at least. Pointless wasting all that money when we've already got a very good keeper IMO.
I disagree with the assesment of 'very good' for a start. As for who I don't know, but we have the best scouting department in the country don't we? I don't think Pickford would be a waste of money, when we'd likely make a huge profit in just a couple of years.
Maya may get an extension....if he wants one. Depends if he thinks there's a risk that he will go back to being a permanent sub.
