Yeah it's reduced, I was in a rush, but I was meaning the sponsor didn't have a get out clause like last time.
Hdm says we want £7 million for kamil http://m.hulldailymail.co.uk/hull-c...ant-up-to-7m/story-30365143-detail/story.html
Seems there is no release clause other than a gentleman's agreement that he could go if relegated. Gentleman's agree with whom, as I don't think we have one at the top?
Good to hear, would be stupid to lose him for 3m after six months. Surely Watford/Newcastle would be happy to spend 5m on him with add-ons taking it to 7m.
Apparently some interview in March. Would have been nice to give us at least until January minimum. Would mean he's been here 12 months all up and would give him a sense of whether we're going to make an immediate return. Also, if he does end up scoring half a dozen goals by January it could push up the asking price from PL clubs. Surely just has to look at Snodgrass to realise how quickly things can change.
Just thinking about it, but Hernandez has been strangely silent. Normally there's endless Italian clubs linked to re-signing him, but I've heard absolutely nothing about him leaving. If we hung onto him somehow, that might go a fair way to helping us go back up, he's a decent striker at this level.
Hernandez, Maguire and Robertson will be the three at the top of Ehab's out list, all have a reasonable value and with no likelihood of new deals being agreed, he needs to cash in before we lose them for nothing.
I would assume so too, just surprised not to have heard much paper talk around him. I can see the value in cashing in, but if he stayed and committed, releasing him for free in 12 months and missing out on 10m might not be so bad if it guaranteed (big if I know) we could get back up.
Money talks though, if a decent PL club comes along offering to double his money or more I think anybody would struggle to remain 'loyal', and you couldn't blame him.
His comments after relegation seemed to suggest he was keen to stay and push us back up but as you say, money talks so I guess twt.
Baffling that people take anything they say seriously. The club says what it wants us to hear and not a word more.
I think with Clucas loyalty is more important. I live in lincoln and work in Mansfield and know a few people who know him. Everyone says that he is a good honest down to earth lad who is family based. I can see him staying and really making a name for himself, I doubt money is a motivation for him. Also who would buy him? My guess is we would value him around £10m, how many clubs will pay that for a lad with a year in the premiership, a year in the championship, when there are similar price players out there with more top flight experience
I was wondering how Grosicki could have had a release clause, he should have been happy we gave him a chance in the Sky League in the first place.
The HDM know knack all, just like the rest of us. That Grosicki article contains little to know info apart from saying that we don't want to lose money on him. State the obvious why don't they
Conflicting reports re Grosicki.... BUT..... if we are in a better position regarding a fee than was initially reported... seems he has a good few suitors. So the £7 million reported today may well be exceeded!... that being the case, I'd like them to use that cash on Salibur who Escab ****ed the transfer up of in January... accidentally of course.. !
I think we'll be very lucky to get more than £7m for Grosicki and there isn't a cat in hell's chance of us signing any £9m midfielders.
