The odd thing is, that the Mail say Fulham value him at 12m, but from what ive read he isnt actually on a comtract at fulham, so theyd just get an amount awarded by a tribunal.

But anyway, 12m for this kid, looks like it'd be an absolute steal. So let's hope not.

At least he's not part-owned by 64,000 different people from the looks of it, anyway.

Last time we signed a promising, attack-minded LB from a Championship side, it didn't turn out too badly. Just hope he doesn't end up being a prick like the last one.

There was certainly talk of a professional contract being drawn up for him to sign on his 17th birthday, although since there's no reports or tweets since his 17th birthday saying he's signed it, the £12m fee being bandied about suddenly makes a lot more sense.

There's some gutter press suggestion that United are interested in Sessegnon. I'd be surprised if that was true and he'd consider moving to a club managed by Mourinho. Likewise a move to Chelsea, whose existing young players aren't getting game time would be a backwards step.

Coming on the back of Danny Rose saying that he wishes Mauricio Pochettino had been his manager when he was 18, Spurs or staying put would seem most logical. Let's hope we can convince him and Fulham that, like Dele, his best future lies with us.

Two questions we'll spend the next month wondering...
i.) Will Roma take up the option to make Fazio's loan permanent?
ii.) Will OM take up the option to make N'Jie's loan permanent?

A week ago it looked likely that Roma would do that, given he was a regular all season and the fee is a positively affordable €3.2m, but after sacking Luciano Spalletti yesterday things might be up in the air

N'Jie looks less likely, though, given the combination of the ACoN and OM signing Payet cost him his place in the team in the second half of the season, so unless they want to take a punt on him (and the €7m fee to make his loan permanent just about qualifies as a punt) I get the feeling he might be in limbo for the rest of the summer.

I hear that Wenger's being offered a £100m warchest this summer...sort of like the £100m warchest he had last summer, which was wisely invested in Xhaka, Mustafi, and that striker they apparently signed just to dick over Everton.

Refused to train and work with the team in order to push through his move to Madrid.

Aside from giving us how ever many millions it was, Bale gave several seasons of the type of entertainment football fans rarely get to experience.

Regarding him as a prick, in that context, for doing what he needed to do to get a move to real madrid, is pretty churlish to say the least imo.

Bale gave great entertainment but the moment he mugged us off I lost all respect, same applies to Modric. Got no problem with players moving onto better things and better teams but go about things the right way, we all knew Real were going to stump up the money for both of them at the respective times, no need to refuse to play/ train/ work with the team just to engineer it quicker. Both were worshipped by us Spurs fans, they at least owed us the respect of remaining professional before leaving.

Do you wish that Bale had never joined Tottenham ?

If you could go back and had the opportunity to sanction his transfer to Spurs, would you say no ?

No, I wouldn't say no to his transfer if I turned back time, he was incredible and a pleasure to watch.

But that doesn't mean I still don't think he's a prick for the way he left.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport have rejected Atletico's appeal against their transfer ban. That should put the Gameiro rumours to bed. I can't say that I'm heartbroken.
