I just can't see what players will punish Madrid though. As you said Higain bottles finals and Madrid let him go because he wasn't good enough. Dani Alaves, although is a brilliant defender is getting on now and will have to face against Ronaldo, you may look brilliant against Monaco and in Italy but Ronaldo in a final is a completely different beast.

I think the way Juventus set up they wont cause too much damage against Marcelo bombing up field. They will be too concerned with not conceding.

Here comes a Michael Owen quote but i think if Madrid score then they win. What i mean by that is Juventus will not want to get into a you score one we will score two against a team like Madrid because they wont be able to deal with that. They need to work hard on a clean sheet.

 

Juventus scored a few against Monaco who admittedly are leaky.

They also smashed Barcelona and should have beaten them by more.

They have dominated their italian league.

Lastly Madrid just leak goals all the time. I don't see them keeping a clean sheet.

Also Ronaldo is terrible in finals. His finals records is abject except when the game is over and then he does a lukaku.

If anyone wins it for Real its not Ronaldo.

Buying Vardy, I do not know how he is going to fit into our system. In fairness he can run and

I never disagreed with you about them changing approach. I don't think that was the major downfall is all. Play 4411 with Vardy up top and they'd have been fine.

The loss of Kante was big but ring to accomodate Salami was a bigger issue

 

I can never get past the fact that, for me, Italian football is synonymous with cheating so while I don't really want Real to win, there's no other option
