I'd rather have Grant from Stoke now that he's lost his first team spot to Butland supposing he wants regular first team football and of course both Jordan & Vito leave.
Ours leaving isn't that cut and dried yet.

Don't see this happening but disagree with the "you're better than WHU" comments. If he goes he's better off at a mid-table side who will play him every week than a top-6 who will 'develop' him. If you think he's getting in ahead of the likes of De Gea and Lloris I think you're wrong.

I really thought City might come in for the lad.

Liverpool would make sense, as would Everton.

I don't see any logic in going West Ham to be fair but forget Adrian, Randolph is a very good keeper I'd suggest worth a part ex.

Adrian is one of the best shot stoppers I've seen but the rest of his game is ****ing terrible.

Everton have reportedly made a bid... £8m? I don't think I'd call that insulting... More disgraceful!!

We should on principle refuse to listen to any further offers from them based on that.

It's got to be £25million or upwards for one of that potential. I'd sooner we keep him at least one year at all costs.

Sunderland should bid 10m for Barkley see if they like it. What a joke of a bid.

With city buying a gk, don't think the lad will leave now.

I'd rather we sold him now because I'm sick of losing out on hot property. We should have sold Kone for 18m, last summer. We've probably already lost at least a 1/3 of that now.

If we finish mid table in the championship, or worse, which is what most seem to think then the same will happen to Pickford's value.

I dont think Everton would mind one bit, mate <laugh>

That's like Fleetwood Town offering us 5m for Pickford. It's hardly going to upset us or turn Pickford's head.

My point is, It's just a waste of time biding 8m for Pickford pal.

Yeah I think so too about refusing to listen to offers. Sadly, on the other point, he's our most salable asset. We need funds to look for promotion so it's an unfortunate position to be in.

It makes no sense giving your best players away, hope our Jock supremo realises that, if we can get a top price from a top club then fair enough, if not then keep him another year or two and build a team from the back, with him and Duncan Watmore up front, and a few of the U21 squad knocking on the first team door we will have a team worthy of our support. Sick of throwing 10m+ away on lazy t***s who don't give a toss. Haway the lads.

Watmore and Pickford will be great role models for any more players coming from the youth team or just young signings. Both have a good head on their shoulders.

Speaking of Watmore does anyone know how he's doing injury wise? All I can find out is that Moyes said at the April that he'd returned to light training but wasn't comfortable and may need a second operation on his knee.

I'm sure I heard he would miss the whole of pre season but no date when he would return to action.

Yeah I remember hearing that too but I'm not sure if that was before Moyes spoke about him possibly needing another operation.

Real Madrid have offered apparently 60 million for De Gea.....stick another 10 million on to Pickers price tag now...up to 40 million for the lad....

Not really sure how that works? De Gea is the finished article, one of the best in the world. Pickford is currently an above average Prem keeper, but with potential to improve.

I think £30m is probably about right for him personally.

If we got a £30m offer from anyone we should bite their hand off. City are paying €40m for the Benfica keeper, so £30m seems about right and it would pay for a Championship re-build pretty much by itself.

I know what your saying is totally correctly mate but was just referring to the higher the bar went up for goalkeepers we should push our asking price up to. The young Brazilian lad mentioned earler is going for 30 plus million with no EPL experience. Pickers is by no means the finished article but he has a decent season in the Premier League behind him. In this day and age of crazy transfer fees....let's ask and see what we get....

Plus we should get about 30 million - 35 million, for Kone, Khazri, Lens and Borini. All of who will hopefully be moved on.
