You don't know that. I'd suggest very few people do.

It's in both clubs interest to leak the highest possible figure. Fans from the buying club want to see as much money spent as possible and the selling club's fans want to see players sold for the highest amount. Most transfer fees are generally quoted including potential add ons for this reason. Fans want to see money spent and Sky go crazy over it.

Everyone reported it as a deal 'worth up to £5m with add-on's', The Star went further and said it was £3m + add-on's, I think it's safe to assume we haven't actually paid £5m for him.

Yeah I know, same as when I was the first person before any media to say that we got Quinn for free rather than the £300k quoted everywhere. As I said, I've no idea what the fee for Marshall was and neither do you, so we can't say the others are wrong despite the fact it is highly likely they are.

They're all probably wrong. These figures the press pull out of their arse are a load of ****.

Wolves are leading Sheffield United in the race to sign former Norwich City defender Ryan Bennett.

Exactly GLP... I just hope that the club do the right thing, shift Herman Munster out and take the hit. Jak has reportedly said his family like it here, lets hope he says 'I don't want to go'... if he's only worth 1.8 million move the decimal point for Marshall... if they did move him on, there would be a massive outcry I feel.

Why do people keep looking back instead of forward. We will compete next season squad wise and manager wise and for my money it wont be by using has been's and never made it's...

I think with the players we've got and can hopefully keep - we've got all the seasoned campaigners we need.

I'd like to see hungry players keen to step up. Plus some out and out pace and at least two tried and tested centre forwards.

I would agree, Ledley was the stand out for me in that list too, and think he is the type of player we need for next season.

As the transfer window hasn't opened its a little moot to ask that now.

Yeah ledley would be ideal for us

Id definatley be enquiring at everton too about lookmans potential playing time this season, would rip it up in the championship

Lots of good options playerwise out there, just need the manager in the building asap so we can crack on rebuilding
