Just goes to show how much luck plays such a big part even at this level. We were 1-0 down at HT after Bolton had one shot (quality shot it was tho).... City have had about 14 clear chances yet it's still 0-0 bizzare! Where is Danny Graham tonight? Completely anonymous. So glad we got Bothroyd instead.
Brill first half by Michael Worm! Two great saves, and just as good a friend with the posts as our own Paddy Kenny
Wow! Thats top quality! Don't need it tonight but will def check it out when i'm out of town next weekend
Of the three teams I now feel Swansea have the best chance of staying up. To hold City for 45 minutes and play as well as they have is outstanding, love their approach to the game as well, they play fantastic football
Pass it well across the backline and into midfield but have no presence at all up front. Will win many friends with their pretty play but few points I'm afraid.
I disagree completely District. City took 20 mins to figure them out, but there afterwards to gap in class was astonishing. As soon as they realised swansea bled posession with the slightest pressure on their back four, it was game over. All this with City playing one too many defensive midfielders! Get another striker on and it'll become embarrassing. *good isn't it norway
Agree RRRRRRS - the Claridge of the top flight. He asked my mate to be his friend on FaceBook and got his request soundly rejected (apparently a knob at school but brother Phil is alright).
Against most teams they will be bettr but away from home against City it is never going to be easy to play the way you want to. Physically City are far too good for them but if you can keep possession as well as Swansea can you are half way there. Swansea will cut teams in the lower half of the table to pieces will counter attacking football like that. A bit more backbone in defence and they'll stay up comfortably for me
Disagree, at best this will be a 2-0 and there are plenty of positives Swansea can take out of this performance. They have shown they can at least compete with even the very best in the PL which is all you can ask
Nope, relying to much on the class of Silva and Toure. De Jong out and Aguero in would probably do the trick.
