So what's your favorite meal of choice then lads and lasses?

My number one choice if time and distance (plus money) were no object would be to eat the following:

Starter - Scallops with Chorizo and pea puree

Have you asked what meat is in this 'Testi kebab' pal... The name might be a bit of a giveaway.

For me, I love tapas and meze, just fill the damn table up and leave me alone.

    Scallops to start.

    Monkfish or Seabass mains.

Ice Cream. Any flavour just give me ****ing ice cream! Now!

    A good Rioja or Merlot.

And no bloody arguments about the tip at the end!

Lamb. Probably lamb hoop and lamb bollocks. Deffo no lamb cocks though. I ate some of those in beijing on a kebab and it was like sucking off the end of a hosepipe. Chewy and hollow as ****.

A platter of Charcuterie, some Picholene olives, some nice crisp and crumbly vintage cheddar, maybe some Manchago and a bottle of decent Rioja

Dedicated carnivore. So, for me, you can't beat a good fillet steak with proper bernaise sauce - rare to medium rare, of course. Sauté potatoes and some fresh runner or French beans.

Just thought of something else. My friend makes this amazing Ham, not sure what the cut is, but she boils it, then adds demerera sugar and cloves and then slow roasts it. When it's done, this ****ing thing just falls away in chunks, melts in the mouth and has got a nice crispy sweet top from the caramelised sugar ....

I ****ing love the stuff. I'm off to Gran Caneria in October, apparently there's a cheese called Herreno that's a Canarian speciality. I think it's like a Haloumi type grilled cheese, Ever had any ?

No, haven't tried that one. Most cheeses here are sheeps milk cheese. Although some of the Quesos de cabra - goats cheeses are pretty tasty too..

I think it's a goat's cheese with a dash of cow's milk and Sheep milk. I will have to find some good back street cafes to seek out the local delicacies <ok>
