That seems like a very short list, are there no rumours going around about Arsenal, Chelsea, City, Spurs or Liverpool being interested in players, if so where do you think they have come from? Personally I think the majority are purely agent and press lead, most clubs like to do their business quietly with no bidding wars and frankly to suggest one team would try (or want) to buy a complete defence/midfield/attack from another team is pure SciFi regardless of how good the players are. If the papers printed that United/Jose want to buy the whole Madrid team would you be shocked and say "cheeky gits" or would you just laugh and move on.
I don't remember saying that Mourinho and Man Utd did it exclusively. The majority are made up or nicked from speculative bullshit online, nowdays. There was a thread on old606 that was basically reprinted by the papers the next day. Various regulars totally made the whole thing up, but they still bought it. Bidding for two or three players isn't a whole team and it's not that unlikely. City seem to be doing it to Monaco in this window, for example.
Moussa Sissoko has told the club he wants out. Ok, bye then! ... oh wait, hold on. Levy's going to want close to the £30m paid for him. No chance of some quick business!
Danny Rose is on 30k a week. Sounds a lot, but when you realise it's the same as stephen caulker, and less than half of (19 year old) luke shaw and (never even in the country) erik lamela, you can kind of understand why he's making noises. Also, apparantly Jan's only got 2 years left on his deal.
I would be amazed if he was on £30, 000 per week. He signed a new 5 year deal last September when he was already in demand and being linked with City, United and PSG.
Could be wrong, but this was the source : http://sillyseason.com/salary/tottenham-hotspur-players-salaries-69471/
I can not see him signing a 5 year deal on £30,000 per week when he was in such demand and Walker was being offered £75,000. Footballers don't have agents, get to be amoung the best in their position in the league, become an International and an integral part of the first team and then under sell their worth!
Various sources have him down as being on 30k. Not seen any source with a higher (or different) figure. That would put him on the same as ben davies and probably less than kieran Trippier. Either all the sources have got the same misinformation, or there's something not right somewhere.
Seriously seems bizarre that he'd agree to a £30,000 per week deal 8 months ago. But maybe he did. Seems a hell of a risk from the club's point of view as he would easily get his head turned if Walker was getting 250% more than him!
Oops...should have said Walker had 2.5 (250%) times the salary of Rose...lucky I am not an accountant Good point re it may be a sign of him establishing himself. If he is on £30,000 then we need to offer him a new contract or he'll be history
Trust me mate, If I was wumming there would be total meltdown on here. People who call wum are usually those who don't like the truth in what they read so calm themselves by believing it's a wum. (some even go to admin to report people ) Have you read anything from me disparaging Spurs or individual players in any way? Have you ever seen me insult another poster? Could it be that my opinion may just differ from some? Can you categorically say that anything I have posted is wrong (not just in your opinion)? Bed time now, g'night
