    47th, apparently: http://www.soccerbase.com/players/player.sd?player_id=80851
That's a lot of games for a 20-year-old to play, especially when he switches leagues halfway through.
Wasn't he paired with Amartey though, who's supposed to be a holding midfield player?

I wouldn't read much into that result either, though.
Fuchs and Benalouane (sp?) at centre-half and nothing to play for.

Which is a big difference to the kind of reply you would get if it was a Spurs player leaving us and a Lesta fan was passing comment.

I appreciate that but my point stands that the club has hardly been given time to honour the agreement unless the club has said behind closed doors that they don't intend to let him leave of course. It seems we are the only club to be held ransom by our players! Even WBA and Everton play hardball!

    He's actually played 61.

    4 for Nigeria.
    19 in the Pro League.
    17 in the Premier League.
    12 in the Europa League.
    4 in the Champions League.
    3 in the Belgian Cup.
    2 in the FA Cup.

    4+19+17+12+4+3+2 = 61

He's actually played 5290 minutes of football this season <yikes> That's nearly 59 90 minutes.

For a 20 year old that's ****ing absurd.

Sweeping statement. Not all Spurs fans are obliged to stick the boot in to us just as not all us Leicester fans would do the same if the tables were turned

That's too many games for someone of his age, honestly. He'll burn out.
He won't play as many next season, I guess.

It's not a sweeping statement. It's evidence based.

Not all Spurs fans do stick the boot in....but my statement is based on what I have seen. If I see different I may think different. As things stand I am sticking with what I said.

Maybe you speak for yourself in which case, well played for not always following the crowd...even though I've seen you do it...I can predict some of the **** if it was the other way around. Infact I already have seen it with the Kyle Walker business. I for one bounce off others...they act like that...then I do too.

I agree and I also bounce off people. Hence why I like to have proper debate with proper fans, a number of them Spurs including yourself, but if someone is being a tool then it's sometimes not worth trying. I appreciate you probably feel that is the case with certain fans of my club :emoticon-0148-yes:

    Totally agree.

We'll be in for a CM or two this summer I should imagine.

You're probably ok there at the moment, as you won't have European football to drain your squad.
Amartey, Ndidi and Mendy for one role, plus Drinkwater and King for the other.
Maybe a youngster, in the same way that you brought in Gray? Might not need one, if you've got a prospect.

Replacing Mahrez and anyone else that leaves will be a priority, then strengthening at centre-half.
Huth and Morgan are getting too old, while Benalouane and Wasilewski aren't good enough, in my opinion.
A right-back to challenge Simpson and provide cover or maybe just a versatile defender would be next, for me.

Good summary. A centre back or two, maybe Maguire or Gibson and someone from the continent, we do need a centre mid, I'm hoping Adrien Silva might still be interested, a number 10, would love Siggurdson but unlikely and a young right back, a lad from Luton has been mentioned which would be interesting

Trouble is that, while Ndidi is that absolute dogs bollocks, there isn't really anyone else.

Drinkwater has had two shocking seasons either side of one amazing one. Difference being Ngolo.

King, Amartey and Mendy are not good enough.

There's rumours of Ozyakup from Besiktas but their owner is too big headed to sell to a small club like us apparently <laugh>

A Mahrez replacement is the big one though. He's one of the few creators in our side. We absolutely need to get someone with similar qualities. Amazingly, and I don't see how there can be any truth to it because he's surely Champions League material, there are rumours of a Mahrez trade for Thomas Lemar + a bit of money at Monaco. Would be a phenomenal bit of business.

No, you're right. We were **** in Europe - underperformed massively.

Problem is neither of us has the squad to compete on all fronts. You suffered in the league, we suffered in Europe.
