I'd have him at Liverpool, decent squad option.

He had a very poor season last season in comparison to his previous one, so I wouldn't want to part with any more than 15mil.

I can see both sides. Maybe the flip side is that he hasn't given the club time to honour the agreement, the window isn't even open yet ffs! It does come across a bit like jumping ship

I actually agree with this. He stayed after a really big season, when it would've made him a twat to leave.
Signed a new contract and the campaign didn't go well, which also included Ranieri leaving and no real replacement being named.
Shakespeare's largely done well, but he still hasn't been given the job yet.

He'd deserve a lot of respect if he stayed, but it's understandable that he wants to move on.

Part of the problem for Riyad this season has been that Vardy has been closely marked so he's not always been able to play the same throiugh balls as the season before ... and there have often been no other options meaning he has had to tryuy and beat 3 or 4 players at times ... he is a mercurial talent and I suspect all of us will be miss him when he's gone ...

Everyone has weaknesses ... Kasper will always get beaten from long range if it's heading for the top corner ... that's why I wouldn't be too bothered if United paid us £30 million and we brough Joe Hart in for a lot less <laugh> ...

Vards will only be as good as he is whilst his electric pace lasts ...

Ndidi on the other hand has bags of potential ....

He looks pretty decent, from what I've seen of him, but he had a mare against us.
Lots of players weren't on it that day though, so it's probably not representative.

We'd probably be more pissed off he went to a team that had a realistic chance of winning the title like Kante did to Chelsea ... so we wouldn't be that bothered about him moving to Liverpool to become a big fish in a small pond .... but I expect he'll go to one of the really big clubs ... <laugh>

He owes Leicester everything. Plucked from obscurity, brought into the Prem, made a champion, enjoyed CL football and now wants to fob you off.

Like I said, if a bid came in for him and he left, fair play. But actually asking to leave just isn't on in my eyes. He's got a contract and he should honour it, at least until Leicester themselves say "of you go, lad".

Not what you guys were saying about Kante.

And staying for another season and not trying until the end to get himself in the shop window hardly counts in my book :p

If you want to split hairs it doesn't open for about 10 days. But deals are being done now all over the shop...

If he stays ... you'll likely be in the Europey by the time he's fit again <laugh> ... let's hope you don't draw Sevilla in it <whistle> ....

... if he does come back well and fit, he'll probably follow Coutinho out the door as soon as his agent can arrange it ... off to a proper big club no doubt ... Jose might fancy him if they don't get Greizmann <laugh>

Agree with this. He doesn't offer very much defensively but he isn't supposed to (although it would have been nice). This season i've been very disappointed with him. He scored a belter at Hull and he has the pace, trickery and ability to take a man on and deliver a quality ball. This season he has been pretty poor on that front. The other thing i dislike about him this season is that he slows the game down and is always looking to take his man on rather than doing things at high pace.

The few times he plays the ball first time and quickly (like that peach of a touch to vardy against City) it's been brilliant but by slowing down the opposition get back in time.

Lots of talent but regressed from last season

Think it was his 62nd game of the season or something mental.

Plus he was paired with a right back.

Wouldn't read much into that game. We had half a team and the other half were out of position.

Yeah I think he'd do better in a top European side, although it may also depend who went too if he stayed in the Prem. I'd personally say Pool or City are best suited for him, as they tend to allow their attacking mids to have a free roam and so I could see him being devastating there. At Utd/ Chelsea or even us, I don't think he'd like the chasing back aspects.

Fantastic player, someone I enjoy watching from a neutral standpoint but I'm always of the belief you should respect your club and honour the contract they've given you. Asking to leave is just muggy.

Some would argue that without him we'd never have won the title nor enjoyed a Champions League season.

I wouldn't be surprised if we've already accepted a bid and this is him getting in his thankyous and farewells.

The club have been in Monaco all week. I'd guess that we've offered him to Monaco considering he'd be the perfect Silva replacement for them.

He's only just turned 20 in the last few months ...

We do have some really good youngsters coming through ... 2 more out at the Toulon tournament currently (Harvey Barnes and Elliott Moore) and we've just won the Hong Kong sevens tournament with a very young team ... Demarai Gray and Ben Chilwell have already forced their way into first team contention and Tom Lawrence has been pulling up trees out on loan at Ipswich ... plenty to look forward to but it's always going to be sad when players that were key to our phenomenal title win move on ... as they inevitably will ... <ok>

He signed the contract for multiple years despite it being clear that he'd want to leave if we weren't able to retain a Champions League spot.

He's not done a Payet here.

City perhaps ... but he's been quoted as saying he wants to leave because he is "fiercely ambitious" ... which rules 'Pool out <whistle>
