He did But security stepped thankfully, so he couldn't actually get her into the back of the van (And it was more 'dragged' than 'pulled'!)
I'd never seen them before this weekend. There's only one who could be remotely classed as attractive. Sure they're lovely girls, mind.
Had a great weekend. Saw some great bands. Was really good to see a load of young people watching, dancing and singing to proper music. It seems kids/teens actually do like bands, so why oh why do Capital, Viking and Radio 1 force feed us/them the same old crap noise (usually featuring Sean Paul)? Why can't/don't they play proper music? Despite thinking Saturday was a much better line up I actually enjoyed Sunday more and spent most of the time on Sunday in the "Where it all begins" tent. Saw Rag'nBone Man, Haim, Biffy Clyro, Imagaine Dragons, Kasabian, Plan B, Two Door Cinema Club, Lorde, Circa Waves, Alt-J, Bastille, Twin Atlantic, Royal Blood and Kings of Leon all in one weekend and all 'in' Hull. Amazing.
The 'secondary' tent is usually always better than the main stage at most festivals, Big Weekend was no different. I stayed at the Where it all Begins tent for all of Sunday. Royal Blood were easily the best act of the weekend, they owned it.
Police have confirmed there wasn't a single arrest at the event. They seem to have got a lot of praise this weekend, I've seen plenty of videos of them dancing with people etc, they should try the same approach at City games.
Didn't someone get arrested in connection with the death? Or does that not count because it was on the bus on the way there? The police were outstanding this weekend, they really went above and beyond to make people feel safe and enjoy their weekend, credit where credit is due.
It would be interesting to know which of those bands he saw in Hull. Were the venues full, it wasn't very well advertised compared to their appearances in the East Riding?
I only left it on Sunday for Bastille. Royal Blood were great. I think Two Door Cinema Club were my favourite of the weekend which surprised me since I didn't have a strong opinion of them either way before the weekend.
Only in Hull (sorry the East Riding) are people as small minded as you. Leeds festival isn't in Leeds, I wonder how many people in West Yorkshire actually give a ****. Its a big event in their local area and they enjoy it, what else matters? Its such a stupid, insular attitude that really thrives in Hull, instead of just enjoying one of the best things to happen to the local area for years, people (who I'm guessing didn't even go?) moan about utter nonsense like this online.
