I said on that thread that I would have had Utd's season over ours, without question. Shame folks like UIR, Nohlman et al. aren't still about as they slated the Europa league and League cup saying they were 'Mickey Mouse Cups', I wonder if they still think that?
Thanks, although the first goal wasn't offside, but there was a good shout for handball. Also, the final was Saturday not yesterday, you must have missed a day when you went into hiding Appreciate the sentiments though. Overall Chelsea fans have been very dignified about us winning the Cup. As for Spurs fans though ......
Cute watching Arsenal and United fans holding hands rubbing each other's todgers. The rest of us remember when they wouldn't give these trophies a sniff because they thought they had teams too good for these trophies and good enough to compete in the CL and top 4. Some mutual masturbation whilst you're sat in 5th and 6th...that's ideal, not too far to reach out to grab each other's knobs.
No one questioned the importance of trophies...if you would like to provide me with the quote where I have? The U turn in lauding these trophies has been amazing to witness. We were all here witnessing the snobby attitude when these clubs thought they actually had teams to compete in the CL and the League...how the mighty have fallen Not my fault you act like the automated verbal ring piece to every comment made by a Spurs fan...my point remains. please log in to view this image
Wow you know **** all about how I feel apart from what I type. My life is fulfilled enough without a football club winning a trophy..I can always wave my cock around because it will always be massive. Can't help calling a spade a spade though...accept it for that point...not for something that is going to take up everyone's ****ing morning Read it again
I'd rather not. For the past 18 months all I have seen on the PL board, is whenever a team wins anything, immediately there is a Spurs fan popping up to downplay their achievement and tell them how much Spurs are better than them....... Happened to Leicester when they won the league, Man United when they won the FA Cup, then again when they won the league cup, now Arsenal winning the FA cup. The **** is wrong with you people? Even our league title win......HIAG popped up with a "Chelsea spiral" thread almost straight away.
If you'd rather not then don't ****ing comment and overrule my point with your agenda...since you would rather not. P.s As soon as I read 'I'd rather not' I stopped reading your post...so I don't know what you are on about Bope. You understand my point, I might consider reading yours you will not force feed me your blinkered opinion.
I am not trying to force feed you anything. There is no way you will ever come round to what I am saying (ie the truth), because it forces you to face feelings of jealousy, and no one likes to be a jelly belly. You asked me to read your post again. I do not need to. What it is, is bitterness at people winning ****, disguised as "revealing peoples hypocrisy." It is something, anything to knock them down and make yourself feel superior, because you do not like the fact that your trophy cabinet is empty. I am not saying it is important to your life. I doubt you assign any more importance to this place than I do, but it is still your agenda nonetheless. What I am doing is calling a spade a spade, what you are doing is laughing at the spade for only digging a six foot hole when it wanted to dig 20 feet, when you haven't even broken ground.
I don't think it's a U-turn in lauding over these trophies mate, we would have still been disappointed with League Cup and Europa League wins if we'd finished 6th with no chance of the Champions League next season, but the rules for the EL have changed and with that, there will be a change of attitude towards winning it, especially if you don't finish in the top 4. Spurs were in a strong position in the PL and rightly so abandoned the Europa League, as they had a chance of winning the PL and would have cantered to a top 4 place either way. United weren't in that boat this season, so rightly so Jose prioritised the EL because it got us into the CL and it gets us a trophy. The fact is, when the dust settles, two trophies and a CL spot represents a better season than just a CL spot, but during the season, we'd have much preferred to have been in Spurs' place, with a chance of winning a much more lucrative competition. I don't know about Arsenal fans, I've not been reading the thread, but a consolation is all they finished with, just like us last season, it's a nice day out that might save their manager his job, but 3 months later it's about as comforting as a kick in the bollocks.
What? That's bollocks, Bope. Spurs fans have admitted both on here and our own board that the trophy successes of Arsenal & Utd have meant they've had the better seasons. In terms of the league, we have been better than them but I'd guarantee you that everyone of us would've taken a trophy over 2nd place this season. And using HIAG as an example is stupid too, you know full well he writes to WUM and openly admits himself that 99% of his stuff is tongue in cheek.
That's fair enough...it means it's about the CL qualification not about the prestige of the trophy. You see, you are being honest...I can dig that. I'm just not prepared to let some of these folk bang on about trophies when they had no time for the trophies. Dangle the CL carrot at finishing 10th and teams would be aiming for 10th...not 9th. Nothing wrong with winning a trophy...that's the game....but I've been listening to these kants belittling the same trophy when they weren't in it or felt like they had bigger fish to fry. I'm not buying that.
