    Another great from my childhood.... visions of the elephant plopping and then pulling the attendant around the studio with John Noakes killing himself laughing and shouting something like 'stop'... RIP

    Fashion designer Tom Gilbey has died of cancer aged 79.

    Not a household name for most, but he went from being an East End tailor, to one of the most influential men in British fashion.

    He designed these capes for The Beatles...
