I'm happy enough we're signing Sackho on one condition. I hope the two million spent is a small part of thr transfer budget and not a big chunk of it. Providing there's enough to fund proper signings in coming weeks, he'll do fine. Another question though, what happened to the ridiculous 30m or something release clause he had. That was obviously a load of crap if we got him for two in the end
I only ever saw him on TV thought he was crap 2 goals 4 assists backs that up but fair play to you WJ you do see more of him and I bow to your superior knowledge personally I think the 2million could have got you better JMO
Just who is sanctioning spending the transfer budget. If cellino had done it we would be going spe ****.
I was thinking similar about roofe today while trundling around lancs and manc land.hes another who moves and runs.you never see that on the box.so some good points from you there.
I think you know the answer to your own question m8ty its not being saved for your new manager that's for sure not a good sign in my opinion Rad openly admits he isn't a football person so is obviously listening to someone on a better note I done Millwall, Blackpool, Hudders, treble
More likely I think. He should be brought in on a reduced basic and an inflated goals/assists bonus basis. That's the way every other industry stimulates results.
It was just a release clause put in place back when they thought he'd be a world star. They can accept fees lower than that, but HAVE to accept a release clause fee regardless of whether he'd be worth more or not. In most cases every player has one but isn't so public like his. As long as we have money for other players its a good signing. We kinda lack that pace in our play without him and I can see him improving rapidly. Think we are paying for the potential rather than what he is now.
Ah, so you're rendered speechless again! Truth hurts, doesn't it? Perhaps someone will give an opinion soon, so you can give a version of it (in no less than 5000 words, no doubt).
We will see , but you know as well as me that sooner or later leeds utd will be back in the premier league
I dont believe that from gary monk i think it was the other way round we offered him a 1 year deal and he wanted a 3 year deal but what i think radrizzani should have done is said ok what we will do is offer monk a 1 year deal and match what other clubs out there are offering in wages so that meant even though it was a 1 year deal he would not have gone anywhere else as we were offering the same as them or slightly more and if he does ok and gets leeds promoted then extend it another 2 years ,
Because of the extended time sorting out the takeover and GFH the negotiations with Monk were delayed. To get around that the club were going to action the 12 month extension clause in Monks contract, therefore giving Monk job security immediately, then agreeing the details of a 3 year deal. But whatever happened Monk has been tapped up and Clotet will be going with him
