No I wasn't. You lot were whining,oh he's going to leavue us and he's going to join City, wah wah wah, oh we better give him a pay-rise. No player is bigger than Liverpool....However Rooney is bigger than Man United. He proved it when he bullied baconface.
And it clearly ripped the club apart as they went on to win another title. Keeping Rooney has really hurt the club.................not.
And i suppose you were there throughout negotiations to see this happen? Or did you just read a News of the worlds (or some similar, What newspaper do they read in Ireland? account? Because im sure it was in no way sensationalist...
Take off your biased glasses and think sensibly. Roy Keane did in 2005 what Rooney did last year and got kicked out. Rooney was punished with a pay-rise. The only answer to this is Ferguson has gone soft. 6 years ago nobody and I mean nobody would'vbe done what Rooney did. Lets not forget, Ferguson adored Roy Keane and he ruthlessly dismissed him. Rooney bullied the bully and threw a tantrum and got his own way. Short-term it may be fine, but long term. What happens the next time Rooney throws a strop....Will he be punished with a pay-rise?
The fact remains he bullied the bully. He's bigger than Man United, and the next time he throws a strop....he'll be punished with a pay-rise. Torres did that and got booted out. He was not begged to stay, it shows how pathetic Man United have become...resorting to begging players to stay./
I didn't realize handing in a transfer request because you want to leave a team failing to qualify for the Champions League meant you were being "booted out". Wasn't his transfer request denied? That sounds like they were praying he would stay.
Wasn't his transfer request denied. Yes it was, because Liverpool decided to let him go for the fee they wanted and on their terms. Chelsea tried to be smart and pick him up on the cheap with their insulting £30 million bid, then they offered £35 million. Then Liverpool decided they wanted whatever it was going to cost to sign Andy Carroll and £15 million. Liverpool would not sanction the Torres sale until they signed Andy Carroll. In other words Roman Abramovich paid for Andy Carroll and Liverpool got Torres whom had become a trouble-maker off their books.,
And you say Man Utd fans move the goalposts to suit their arguement Why don't you **** off to Mexico in South America Dumb ****.
It's amazing how Liverpool always seem to have some secret master plan, who do they consult to think up these plans, Pinky and the Brain?
Andy Carroll may turn out to be a quality player...............but then again I have not seen to much to convince me of it. Hes big and powerful but is that enough?
