Alonso is arguably the best driver in the world. It's hard to recall mistakes he's made, Aus last season, maybe, but other than that I struggle.

That is why the race isn't won early.

Is Alonso thinking long-term? Or just busting to lead and run away with it?

Two things happened so far today that I thought wouldn't happen. Kimi led a race from pole and Alonso leading Indy.
