Lol, noticed that too. And seems we Americans are fine with a point, just disappointed with the second half. We should've played much better in the second half, but had a shocker as a team instead. Attributing it to lack of concentration due to poor fitness levels, at least I am.
I was having this discussion in the pub after the game as my brother was stressing about us looking less fit than Sunderland but my opinion is it was more about how often we were chasing the ball after giving up possession too easily. We made it a lot easier for Sunderland than we should have but not convinced that's down to lack of fitness.
The only other thing I could see it being is lack of desire, and I refuse to believe that... What would you say it was?
I think it was a combination of new team not quite finding the mark and not getting the second goal in the first half when we probably should have killed it off. Anyay we'll definitely get a test of fitness against arsenal so i'll reserve judgement until then
