Funny that, because this thread was littered with bitter Spuds after the final whistle yesterday. Nobody made them come here and spill out their tears and bile. Apprehensive about your future chances of winning trophies if you had just won a trophy? 3rd followed by 2nd means nothing, you just remind me of the 'Keegan entertainers' from the 90's at the minute. I'd say a trophy is far more important than a 2nd place, because winning breeds winners and you need somewhere to start.
It was part of a 'Wembley party pack' that the Spuds posted on their website. They had cut out party hats, suggestions for nibbles etc, but the crowning glory was their cut out and keep trophy Shame for them that Wembley has witnessed scenes of utter humiliation for them, long may it last

We want to see consistency and improvements. We've seen both this season. And coming from a supporter of a club that's spent £100's upon 100's of millions over the last few years to achieve next to **** all. And failed ( yet again) to qualify for the CL by league position, that's pretty bitter.

I really don't care that much about the result, Fosse. In fact my preference was for the Goons to win as I hoped it meant Whinger would stay. A game between the Goons and the Chavs! Why would any Spurs fan give much of a toss?...
