Ok let's go through it and check off the facts. You both secured European football, you both never won the league, Arsenal although finishing 11 points adrift of you actually have a tangible trophy to show for it. As they don't have a trophy for finishing 2nd Arsenal clearly have had the better season. I know you don't like the idea but it's a fact.

They won the FA cup which gives no further privileges. Mourinho won the EL to which there's the advantage of CL football. There's the difference.

Honestly? No. I'd rather we show consistency and growth as a team, which is what we've done over the last couple of seasons. If we can continue on the path we're on the trophies will come. Nobody expected us to be up there challenging for the title again, but we were. I'd have been far more disappointed and apprehensive about the future had we won the cup but finished way down the league.
