Would be a good buy imo, and could be one of Bruce's surprises.

Reported in that well known, truth spouting media site known as caughtoffside...

would anyone be disappointed if this was true?

disclaimer: I dont actually believe the stuff in that online rag, but if one of stories it printed was true, i would want it to be this one.

I wouldn't be disappointed, he's young and would give us another option upfront. I imagine he'll be pricey though at 10m+

I don't see wanting to sign for us or the dark side. This guy should be at Barca, Real or Inter or so he believes!
Thinks very highly of himself this one. Not sure is want him.

I'd rate him no more highly than Ameobi or Loverkrands.

I like him, and i'd take him.

I would say, however, that it looks, admittedly early doors, as if Ji is capable of being a much better player than him, so it could be a potential waste of wages.

Would you drop gyan or sess for him? Bit part player at Arsenal can imagine him wanting more 1st team games.

Think thru the centre and given a run of games he undoubtedly would come good but would rather stick ji or CW in

I dot think we need him, like i have said previously, he is a very poor mans Ibrahimovic, and i have never ever seen Ibrahimovc have a good game (score some cracking goals yes, good all round game no).

What we need is an out and out goalscorer, but sadly there isnt that many of those about these days.

The pictures that flashed through my mind about "super-modding" were frightening, like a Dali picture on steroids. Strangely they involved Syd, Osca and ...................Joey Barton....................where's those pills??????

Being linked to us as well.

The only thing which concerns me about Bendtner is that he can't score many goals despite being in one of the best teams in Europe with (at least until today) one of the best midfields in Europe. You'll struggle to get better service anywhere else, so he should have really been putting a lot more away. Our midfields are great, but I don't think we could give as good service as Arsenal have, so there's a good possibility he'd score even less in a lower team.

Plus, it's not exactly a confidence thing either. Someone like Obertan, for example, I think didn't show his full potential because of the pressure and lack of confidence at Man Utd. Bendtner notoriously once received a confidence rating which was higher than the top of the scale, and he's full of himself, so maybe his genuine ability just isn't good enough.
