At the end of the day, as I have said, its a one off game, so anything can happen. But we are the better side, we are in form, and Arsenal are missing a lot of players through injury and suspension, so the momentum really has to be with Chelsea. I am going for a 2-0 win, Costa and Cahill.
Anybody know if any of the top betting sites do accumulators for yellow cards? I fancy a fair few bookings in the FA Cup Final, might stick a few trebles on. I had one once on Ladbrokes but they don't seem to offer it anymore.
Chelsea are 1.88 on Betfair. That's around 4/5, unbelievable value imo. Should be no better than 4/7. Of course anything can happen in 90 minutes. But that price is a punter's gift.
According to multiple reports, including the Telegraph’s Matt Law and the Guardian’s David Hytner, Arsene Wenger has decided to drop Petr Čech for Saturday’s FA Cup final against Chelsea, and go with backup goalkeeper David Ospina instead. While Ospina had played the early rounds of the FA Cup as well as all of Arsenal’s games in the Champions League, the assumption was that Wenger would start his no.1 goalkeeper with an actual trophy on the line. Ospina had not played in either of Arsenal’s victories in the FA Cup quarterfinals or semifinals. Earlier reports said Čech was carrying an injury, but this seems to not be the case anymore. To make matters worse, Čech is understood to be “devastated” by this decision, especially since Ospina is expected to leave the club this summer and Čech (probably?) isn’t.
Today is Arsenal's last chance to rescue something from their miserable decline. It could well be their last for some while, of course. If they manage to scape a win, they will have something to show for their mediocrity, albeit that it can never make up for failing to get into next season's CL.
