The other thing was he spoke about philosophy/style of play that they've developed over the last 12 months. The bruce/phelan way is totally different to the silva way so what is our philosophy
Money talks. I think many opposed this partly because it's the Allams and partly because of the way it was handled. If those sports clubs were paying a fair rent then fair enough but it was costing the club a lot of money and they were there in reduced terms on account of if they weren't there nobody would be there so somebody might as well use it. If the council build it for community use they shouldn't have handed it over to a private company to run and subsidise.
Yes. I don't get it. Most of this can be put to bed fairly straight forwardly, rather than do anything he doesn't even mention it. I just don't understand his position at all. I don't know about anyone else but if one morning he righted some of these wrongs, which he could probably do in one single press release, I would probably just move on and put the past in the past. I'm so bored of all this I just want to enjoy the football again, no matter who pulls the purse strings. I really couldn't give a **** anymore.
I just got around to watching the interview and he seems to be talking sense. There are rabid Allam haters on here who react negatively to everything Ehab says, but try and listen from a more neutral point of view. Of course it could have been scripted by a media studies graduate or a PR person, but he seemed to be speaking naturally. The proof of the pudding is in the eating so we should wait and see what happens over the coming weeks. TWT.
Neutral? On here? Good luck with that. We've even got the Trust Clown on here who feels entitled to post his views on the interview, whilst admitting he hasn't even watched it. You almost couldn't make it up from him. IMO he acknowledges a fair few things in that interview, and like you say, TWT.
What he doesn't mention is that they back pocketed 6 million so the Dai's could have a say in the transfer window and on our manager to the detriment of the club.
that's simply no the case - the Yongges weren't even around when Brucie left - Ehab is conveniently forgetting that no transfer activity took place in July BECAUSE he was selling the club and didn't want to pump any more money in - that's when the damage was done - not in August when the Chinese started to get involved - it was already too late
And that right there shows it all, he must know where most of the problems are, concessions and not using the clubs name and yet he does and says nothing about them.
What makes you think the Chinese only came on the scene in August? It was common knowledge in August but if you think back the Allams ****ed the Yanks off in July - probably because they'd had a better offer from the Chinese.
I maybe wrong but wasn't Ehabs program notes that this was probably the last game as owners at the beginning of August? Also reported on 5th September was that they had failed the fit and proper test, so I think they were involved during July.
