Just watched QT on catch up. You couldn't make it up. A guy with a leaflet handed out at a mosque basically getting dismissed......erm WTF !! It is beyond ridiculous that people can't say how they feel in these circumstances. The Muslim faith really doesn't give people too many reasons to like it.
Dont often agree with the Yanks, and this a couple of years old, but kind of nails it. ' Peaceful majority irrelevant. '
Agreed. Although, I just watched it till the end and there was a Muslim lady on there basically ripping her religion apart. Fair play to her.
But they don't listen to her and it's information coming first hand. It is baffling as to the liberal ignorance of a Muslim telling them about what goes on.
Don't be daft. You'll be agreeing with that idiot Rufus Hound next. There is a very real threat, as there could be more bombs out there that were built by the same maker.
Nothing makes me vomit more than illiberal sects and movements (like Islamic fundamentalism) using liberal freedoms like free speech and the right to dress how one feels for proscriptive diktats like wearing face veils etc. I'm also confused when some muslims go on about feeling persecuted about expecting to sort out their own community and fellow travellers, while at the same time complaining that Government programmes like Prevent don't take their Community views into account. It has to be said that the police claim most of the intelligence is coming from that community, so the government programmes can't be all that self defeating.

She continued: "Our response to this violence must be to come closer together, to help each other, to love more, to sing louder and to live more kindly and generously than we did before." 'We will continue' The singer said she wanted the current tour to be "a safe space" for her fans to "express themselves". "This will not change that," she added. "We will continue in honour of the ones we lost, their loved ones, my fans and all affected by this tragedy. "They will be on my mind and in my heart everyday and I will think of them with everything I do for the rest of my life." The star said she would reveal further details once the gig had been confirmed.
That's not the first time you've called me daft, Col, and I resent it. I've restrained myself from responding to your over the top 'liberal' bashing because tensions are high, but you should at least show some respect for different views from your own This government, and May in particular, are desperately trying to cover up for their own inadequacies. We didn't have the army on our streets in the height of the IRA attacks on the UK, but we do now, partly because this government cut 20,000 police officers, but more so because it suits their electoral agenda to deflect attention from their pathetic manifesto and May's wibbly-wobbly U-turns.
Ridiculous. I'll "bash" liberals as long as they wring their hands at the slaughter of innocent kids. I know you're not daft, but I stand by the fact that I think your comment on the heightened police levels being nothing more than a political gesture as totally daft. Get over your hatred for all things Tory and see the bigger picture.
