Maybe stop funding and creating terrorist groups, destroying other nations infrastructure and society on false pretence to spread justice and democracy, stop funding and backing nations that create an open air prison...some of these things would go along to try and achieve peace and radicalisation of the impressionable and the ones that grow suffering day in day out and then look for revenge any way possible. There is no right time to debate these issues, because when its the right time for it might not be for the other person..
That's exactly what he's done, he's implied that our foreign policy which has resulted in our own military intervention overseas, has increased the threat of terror. We've gone over this anyway, he's possibly right to a degree that we've poked our noses in more often than required, but imo, today it's a cheap shot and it's not the only or main reason we're dealing with terrorism globally.
Are we working on the assumption then that the 'damage' is reversible, without having to implement extreme measures ourselves in order to restore parity such as, when certain fanatics call for Sharia Law to be implemented here in the UK?
Stop being selective and totally hypocritical when it comes to deciding what democracy looks like for a start off.
No we are not, I think you should read it again as that's not what I am proposing, there needs to be serious and genuine debates and efforts made to get the issues resolved.
I never inferred that's what you were proposing, I don't need to read it again. Perhaps you're a little paranoid. When you don't know a person, you'd probably be best served to take the sentence at face value rather than making your own assumptions. It was a question.
Now? ... not at all ... can you make sure you've given mine a real good wipe down before I take it ... some right sweaty buggers on this beach
When you're stuck out in I've got to get away land and the Brinks money runs out its nice to have a meaningful occupation.
Hate crimes have doubled since the Bombing. Let's hope one of these idiots fancy a rumble in my Jungle. He won't get away until he is robbed, fisted and gang banged at the very least by a few Muzzies.
Don't know if that's a comment on this thread, which I stopped reading properly when it started to ignore the original topic.
Attacks like this have nothing to do with western foreign policy. These are religious fanatics deliberately murdering 'unbelievers' It's why I don't believe that even if peace came to the Middle East tomorrow that these nutters will stop what they're doing.
These are religious nutters murdering their own people because they don't believe what they believe, Simple as. .
They need to be wiped out. Arab Governments are a disgrace. Sat on most of the Worlds wealth yet they can't sit around a table and plan to fight this evil..instead they give to the world a 7 Star Hotel, can't stand them. Always normal people at the end of this.
True, ISIS are not doing anything due to Western Foreign policy in my view. They are an organisation supported by the CIA set up to de stabilise the Middle East. Islam is to be it's banner and a door for the West to enter Arab Land once again. ISIS are not interested in Islam....call me a fool for my belief on the matter. The West however was aiding Bin Laden in toppling the Afghans in the 80's. 20 years later he was their most wanted. I don't know what anyone else sees but I see a lot of patterns repeating themselves. As usual...normal people suffer.
You probably have just cause on some of that. However, Egyptians killing fellow Egyptians over a matter of faith!?.....
