Person that told me was almost certain Bertrand was going. They said he had his heard turned and didn't want to be here. Bertrand had a few falling outs with Puel over his attitude during the season. This person is so close to the team, I would be shocked they made it up. So yeah Bertrand is gone.

As long as we stay resolute and demand top money for van Dijk I think clubs may want to see how he performs after his injury before paying out, therefore perhaps I can see him leaving in January. If a big club offers the money there is little we can do, I just hope we reinvest well rather than when we sold Mane and relied on what we had.
I can't remember the last time a high profile player left in January. I remain relaxed on transfers in January, don't take that away from me
If Rose goes to City and is being replaced by Bertrand then we should ask for the same transfer fee however knowing Levy he will sell Rose for £40m and try and get Bertrand for £10m....need Les to be pretty resolute to get any sort of deal from that tight b**tard
Considering Bertrand is on a very long contract, we would be completely stupid to let him go. For me, he is a natural leader on the pitch, and has it all as a footballer. He doesn't seem the type to throw his toys out, so hopefully someone can convince him to stay. (Although beefy, you're the most trustworthy poster there is.) I am scared that the club will not replace him and rely on targett/McQueen at left back for the whole season.
