That's you going on the premise that every religion or faith does make that type of error...

That's not the first time he has done that though, he thinks that an opinion of a Muslim is always from the Qur'an......go figure

quoting Memri TV and a translation, I assume DMD knows Arabic and has translated it himself..

You're still trying to make claims I haven't made. You are dishonest.

There are plenty of other scholars making similar claims.

It's just another example of the book being vague, which is odd to say the least, given it's supposed to be the revelation of the almighty. As far as answers go, it'd barely scrape a pass at o level, which begs questions of the author and claims made on their behalf.

No. I'm saying that it's possible to prove that some religious claims are false and that it damages the credibility of those faiths.
I was just suggesting examples to illustrate the point.

There are other similar examples. I couldn't give a ****e to be honest, I saw at as funny in the same way the other flat earth cranks are. Funny how this example of a poorly educated fruit loop seems to cause upset, and defensiveness, yet the others caused amusement. I wonder what the difference is?

    EDIT.

I forgot to comment on your claim that he's not main stream islam. Your own link says:

    • In 1992 he was appointed Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia and Head of the Council of Senior Scholars and was granted presidency of the administration for scientific research and legal rulings.
    • President and member of the Constituent Assembly of the Muslim World League.[1][2]
In 1981 he was awarded the King Faisal International Prize for Service to Islam.[14][15] He was the only Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia not to come from the Al ash-Sheikh family.[16]

The pit of my stomach is where I feel for the kids and families of them kids in the Manchester area . Keep an eye out for the unusual these days ,only going to get worse . Very , very sorry for the effects this will have for family , friends as they try to embark on picking up the pieces and moving forward ... I'm sure in many cases where children are still left to parent . Good Luck

Yes I agree, but you have to see whether those claims have religious basis for it or its just an opinion of some guy that happens to be from that faith..

Those links actually support what I said. It's Wahhabism. Saudi's own particular brand of the faith.

Its not even a brand of faith, its brand of control that Muslims don't want and never did..The house of Saud was helped and propped up in power..

Which more than supports my point, that a book that is supposed to be the revelation from god, to provide divine guidance, should be crystal clear, and not open to people (scholars) being able to make claims that others use the same book to try to rebut. Surely, omniscient being wouldn't leave a book open to such things, particularly as they should know more than most what would happen. God looks like a wum.

But it supports its claims by quoting the book. If the book is so vague, that should raise questions on the credibility of the author.

    Because it doesn't

There in lies the problem with those arguing religion and science

They put their faith and hopes in one line of thought they are aware of without looking at the origins or background of another

Yeah turns out it was a guy with a knife in an area around the school and it seems drug related although not certain yet

Initially it was thought to be fire arms and linked with retaliatory attacks due to manchester

    Very heavy police presence
