Yeah that one is a toughie. Enrique was pretty good last year, and Evra had an off year. It is easiest and possibly best to compare the most reason season. But Evra has been class for since he joined from Monaco. I think Evra will be back to his best this year. So lets just settle with Evrique.

I'd say this is one of the best assessments when creating a comparative team between the two sides, here's mine I've tried not to be biased and be as fair as i can GK i think most of us agree Reina would be in goal as De Gea is untested at the moment although he might end up being a great keeper. LB -I'd still have Evra as although he's getting on a bit he's been a great player for a few seasons and i think it would be unfair to try to put Enrique in there at the moment and Aurelio despite his quality is always injured. RB- i think Kelly or Glen Johnson would just shade Rafael in my opinion CB- Vidic definitely and then i would go for Agger with him mainly because Rio and Carragher despite having great careers are coming to the end of there time at the top. Carragher has only a few seasons left at the most and Rio doesn't seem to be able to shake off his injuries for any sustained period. LW- i would probably go for young as i think he's a better player than Downing and will only get better in a good team, i wish we would have been able to land him instead of you guys. RW- this one is contentious as Nani is talented but quite inconsistent and i really dislike his attitude on the pitch he's quite a bad diver,so I'm going to go for deadly dirk as what he lacks in talent he makes up for in sheer will and you can always rely on him for a goal when you most need it. CM- sorry utd fans but i think Gerrard and Lucas would outrank any that you have in that position at the moment although maybe park would run lucas close for the DM spot. ST- Rooney and Suarez no question i can't stand Rooney but despite how much he's over hyped quite like any English player to be fair he's still a very good player and Saurez i would say is better than Berbatov or Hernandez on current form all though we can't deny Hernandez has a decent eye for goal as well.
Lay off th smack. Our striker force is the best in the land bar none so any ideas about lesser players getting in is just bollocks. Gerrard was dreadful last season, I would have Gibson ahead of the Gerrard of today and Gibson is dire. Lucas......maybe. Charlie Adam........NO.
Sorry but thats bollocks. Our entire defence including the second string would get in your squad. Our attack pisses all over everyone elses in the league so would waltz into any team never mind Liverpools. Midfield is the only debatable position. I know LFC fans love their team but what you are saying is like us United fans claiming Rooney, Nani, Valencia, Carrick and co would walk in to the Barcelona team.
Liverpool fans vastly overrate their side. Liverpool fans vastly underrate United. Both are extremely stupid things to do. All you need to know is United are the best in the land. Its not up for debate, its not opinion its not something said for the sake of it. Its cold hard fact. before you can be the best you must acknowledge who is the best. United did this in the late 80's. Look at us now.
Suarez and Rooney in the same team? erm........does anyone not see how stupid that would be. They are almost identical sorts of players. Rooney and Hernandez would be a much much better strike force.
Some of the comments on here show that Liverpool fans do rate Man Utd. As for you being the best, you are the current PL champions so were proved to be the best team in the Prem last season. A new season has started though, you will have to prove you are the best again.
Good players should be able to find a way to work together, I don't think they are that similar anyway.
Liverpool fans do actually rate Man Uniteds side, their defence is very solid.They have huge strength in the wide areas, they have an excellent attack. But they've got one massive flaw. Their central midfield is poor. Carrick,Anderson and Gibson are ****. If they signed Snjieder they would walk the premier league without question and that wouldn't be debatable. Liverpool are a work in progress and that isn't debatable either.
Do you have any doubt in your mind that we wont? Be honest. I dont. I am actually more confident this season that when we were walking the league season after season.
Tbh we tend to bypass our midfield alot of the time. Its main job is to protect the back 4 and provide a solid foundation. It aint pretty and it aint no Barcelona but it works and allows the likes of Rooney, Nani and co to play their game.
I was accurate in my post. GK - Reina would get it no quaestion. Forget your defence as ours is better. Midfield......Lucas....maybe.....others.....toss of a coin to be honest as neither are brilliant. Attack......maybe you should look at ours and have a think. Its the best in England.
