In your "Can Chelsea challenge for top 5 in the coming season?" thread you wrote "Certainly, I think you're good for 6th, even though that's going to require a massive step-up from last season."
Exactly, then states that he's netted people as though it actually means anything. As for the OP, I don't know how Man U can be critisised. They did the job required as did we last season. I sense a pattern that he just takes issue with teams that win stuff. Wait for more of the same if you win the FA cup
...and I was right! Given that you finished top, it goes without saying that you were good for 6th! Be that as it may, this thread is all about United, so please stick to the topic. Thank you.
How about the fact that Mourhino's United has been dire in the Prem? That is a fact. Has them winning the Europa League papered over the cracks, in that regard? It's a perfectly sensible question, and one that was being debated on TalkSport only yesterday. How about the fact that United have been profligate in front of goal? Including in the Europa League? How about the fact that they could have easily gone out of the Europa to Celta Viga, if their striker hadn't missed that sitter? How much is Mourhino going to have to spend to get United up to any kind of fitness-for-purpose in order to compete in both the Prem and the CL? Will the United board settle for yet another finish outside the top 4, next season? If not, what do you think Mourhino's priorities should be? Come on, lads! There is a whole load of issues to be discussed, here.
Nope you were wrong as per usual, you crow before the deed and make yourself look an uber bell end every time.

Dire with three trophies and your second with none speaks volumes on your third rate wummery and innate bitterness.
I do think he needs to play some more attacking football yes. For clubs that win loads that is expected. But has he been sacrificing the league recently focusing on this yes. End of the day there's only 4 places in the CL (through league qualification) and 6 teams battling so 2 will miss out. IMO only league champions should be in the CL anyway
So, is it your contention that United's poor form in the Prem this season has been justified by them winning those trophies (one of which related to a one-off game)? If so, do you think the justification merely papers over the cracks? Or, do you wish to make a case for them not having had a dire season in the Prem? If so, please set out your arguments.
Definitely the FA cup winners should get a place rather than 4th place in the league. Would help to value the cup more like they've done with the Europa
That's a fair assessment. Do you agree with me that United suffer some fatal frailties, as far as progressing in the Prem is concerned? I'm talking about frailties all over the park, in defence (they've leaked far too many goals), in midfield (they've been far too defensive and lacking in attacking creativity), and in attack (they've been far too profligate in front of goal). Do you agree with me that Mourhino has got to address all three sets of frailties before anything else, in order to guarantee he keeps his job, notwithstanding that fact that he won the Europa this season? Do you think he will succeed where two managers before him have failed? If so, how do you think he will succeed? What will he do that will be different?
