I'm not saying he's number one in my list, just saying I don't think he's not good enough for us. We still have a manager anyway.
Whoever gets the job, if Puel goes, should get the backing of the supporters. Monk does have experience of managing in the Premier League after all. I say give the guy a chance, if he is appointed.
I'll give anyone* a chance once they're appointed and they'll be judged on what they do here over anything else. Even if I don't agree with the choice myself. *I reserve the right to meltdown beyond belief if we appoint Moyes.
That's the one! There's also this wonderful thing called laziness on your day off when you know inevitably on here someone will tell you
Another Serb from my adopted home town of Novi Sad! but also a defender in his playing days. If we changed manager (and I am completely behind Claude staying another season) I'd like a manager who was an attacking player!
Think I'd have Monk over him personally, quite a negative manager I believe. I do but not convinced by him yet. Done a great job with Hudders and still yet (hopefully) go up. Not sure I've ever seen a team finish so high in a league with a negative goal difference before. Bizzare. Interested to see how he does next year whether they go up or not.
I always thought Swansea got rid of Monk too soon and that he did a good job considering it was his first management position. He has also done a fine job at Leeds under quite possibly the worst owner in the country! If we were to part with Puel, then I think we could do a lot worse than Monk who has at least spent some time at our club before, along with Beattie.
