How is Carroll doing by the way? We were discussing him earlier on our board and I havent read much about him on here on my visits.

To be completely honest i am not overly impressed yet - seen some glimpses of brilliance. I think after 10 games a better analysis can be done. I'm sure he'll be fine - just taking time to settle i guess
Andy Carroll will come good, he would've been on the score-sheet had it not been for the incompetence of Phil Dowd who disallowed a good goal.
I've no doubt he'll be a brilliant player, but he needs time. The price tag hanging over his head is a lot for a young player who in reality could take another 2-3 years to become that player.
kuyt, did he miss one last season, in fact i cant remember one hes missed adam gerrard suarez depending on whos on the pitch is agger decent at them? he does have a great shot, but not sure from closer range
yeah this one is the one..although Kuyt and adam could be swapped as never seen dirk miss but adam is a top drawer penalty taker
Suarez needs to take the next one to get his confidence back! Dirk if on the pitch should take ( always good safe confident penalty) Adam if not (don't think he's ever missed) Have never been very confident when Gerrard takes, he's missed quite a few
I was surprised Suarez took it because I dont see him as a penalty taker. Out of saturdays team I would say Adam. Though I remember Carragher taking a great free kick in a world cup shoot out (but having to retake).
