I don't have a problem with people questioning or having a debates why god exist or not exists based on reasoning, Islam does not ask to have blind faith, but to ponder and reflect and then come to conclusion. The people who question the validity of religion/Islam or God come with limited understand of that religion or base it on someone else's argument. Qur'an claims to be word of god, I and approx. 1.8 billion people believe it and follow it and if someone wants to come along claim otherwise that's fine as long as you try and come with valid argument and not sound bites like its controlling this and that...everything has rules and Islam is a complete way of life, Qur'an is not book of science but a book of guidance with scientific things mentioned within and has yet to be debunked. So for people like DMD to claim fairy tales is fine but then meet the challenges/falsification tests that Qur'an sets but he cant do that so comes up with rhetoric all the time. He wants to have his cake and eat (believe in God but not his laws-rules) because that cant be god then.....go figure

Yes there holes in models/theories of God/religion. Just as there are in what atheists put forward Problem usually is atheists are usually so busy attacking religions that rarely do you find what are their beliefs/explanations If in the rare occasion you have a conversation with one where its not attacking religion the logic is laughable at best in my experience based on premise's set by Dawkins

Take my example, evolution vs the big man plonked a pair of fully grown humans that he'd presumably grown earlier into the garden of Eden, the logic says that on the balance of probabilities that evolution is correct, over a story written thousands of years ago that stands up to **** all scrutiny. No, it's impossible to have these discussions with believers, as they believe due to their faith, they know the logic is flawed, so 'faith' is what makes them believe. As soon as an atheist or non believer dissects the fable, they take it as an attack on their faith and take it personally. As for the logic of the creation of the Universe, the big bang theory vs an omnipotent being who was created by what exactly?

Bible has many contradictions and the author is man I don't know any other scriptures that claims to be the direct word of god and the author to be God apart from the Qur'an, it even challenges people to bring something like it or find contradictions if they believe it not to be word of God. Also there is promise that the Qur'an will be protect from day one and it is still the same Qur'an as it was then it is now.. There are many things I can go through when its debated on a intellectual ground rather than ends up happening here, if you see what I mean..
