I respect his father, but wanted fresh ideas; the treatment of Alex has been shoddy. Good luck to him.
I liked him , always first into a scrap even when it wasn't his battle , need a few like that in your team
People's opinions differ on the abilities of Alex Bruce but surely be can all agree that if some of our players with more natural ability had shown as much effort and commitment to the cause as he did things almost certainly would have turned out better?
He took the piss out of the club for not speaking to him, it was funny, no doubt he's happy that people found it funny.
Would not have changed the result had he remained. A Yorkshire team leading 2-0 in an FA Cup Final never wins. Back in history to 1966 and Sheffield Wed. Groundhog day for me as I was there for both games.
City called RH whilst sports talk was on last night to say that they had told his agent before sending out the tweet, but his agent hadn't told Alex.
So the best case scenario is that they told his agent and his agent forgot to tell him. Even that's pretty ****ty, he worked for their company for 5 years and they didn't have the decency to spare 5 minutes to tell him in person, thank him for his service and wish him well. However, I strongly suspect the 'agent' story is bullshit and the call to RH was just a PR move to cover their tracks.
They didn't say when they told his agent, it could have been five minutes before the released list went live. Though as you say, he should have been told in person anyway.
Yes, thinking back it was Simon Clark assumption that his agent had obviously not told Alex. You're right he should have been told in person, even if Ehab didn't have the balls to do it.
This is a pretty tiny stick to beat with the Allams with, isn't it? Nothing more than a shard off a twiglet. Bigger fish to fry.
we should all be having a party Quim - he started 9 league games in the last two seasons - possibly the worst contract extension ever signed thanks to his dad - total waste of money - I've never disagreed he gives 100% - unfortunately. in my opinion he's never been anything close to good enough to put on a Hull City shirt and if his dad wasn't the manager he never would have
Thanks for everything Alex, you seldom let us down and could be relied upon to give 100% regardless of what a few detractors thought. All the best for the future.
