Sky are running it now. Time to get searching for a replacement. You'd have hoped it would have already started but that's getting ahead of ourselves.
Sunday nights used to be really good in there, they had a jazz club thing going on when I was a teenager.
Maybe because they cleared their desks and caught the first plane out of here the minute the whistle blew in our 7-1 home defeat, the worst in our history v Spurs ?
I wonder what the Allams point of view was as they went into this meeting? 1. this guy said he could keep us up, we paid him loads of money and still got relegated. The useless ****ing **** has cost us a fortune, we don't care how much you beg to stay your sacked. OR 2. please please stay with us, we can see how good you did in the short time you had, if only we had got you in earlier, you're the best how much do you want to stay. OR 3. meh whatever, it's a chance for a meal out and don't have to do the washing up.
Can't see the idiot son doing the washing up. Unless there were specific instructions on how to use a tap, fairy liqiud and a scourer, not to mention a tea towel.
Sad day Not surprised But if he does go back to Portugal then it's weird. I get the idea that he may feel now's the time to get into a big club in England maybe or in a big league but to go back to POrtugal, POrto are not the team they used to be and even if he does well there it's not as relevant.
Foreign manager please. Much prefer the new flair they bring. WHATEVER you do Allams, if you're gonna do one thing right in your life, get a young manager. DO NOT GET a past failure trying to restart his career. **** pardew, mclaren and all of these twatish failures. Get a young guy in, **** the "experience", Marco Silva just proved it's bullshit.
Marco Silva leading candidate to be next Crystal Palace manager as deal to join Porto falls through http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...va-leading-candidate-sean-dyche-a7754111.html
I read a post on CI recently that contradicts this and stated they like nothing better to do a few household chores that involve cleaning, etc.
Me and my Dad lived in the Crest Motel for a couple of months when he first took a job in Hull in the mid 70s. The start of my City life sentence!
Either can work. They've done an awful lot wrong but they brought us an experienced manager in Steve Bruce who was right for the moment and then they brought in a young relatively unknown manager in Silva (worth remembering when everyone is slagging them off now because he's going!). There's still a case for saying experience counts.
