    2nd richest club in the world? Reckon they can afford a few. PL money dwarfs what most teams earn from CL anyway.

    Probably because its men against boys. The lack of quality in this years Europa league means it was always going to be this way with Man Utd underachieving and the rest of the semi final teams massively overachieving.

    Pogba with the goal that makes all the difference. That goal is worth about 80m alone and is the goal that has earnt united a far better season than Liverpool and more trophies in the past decade.

    They would for a while but no CL IE 5th place and lower for a few seasons would also see their premier league money drop.

    Credit to united - two trophies and CL qualification. Very fortunate to have the easiest run to a final ever but they took full advantage.

    But my god, how can united fans watch this every week. Sitting back and looking to counter.

    it was one of if not the most cynical performances i have ever seen.
    still remember a Celtic fan being interviewed after the match saying "if that is what it takes to win in Europe i'd rather not"
