Dolberg's too isolated, for me. Lots of runs and dribbling from others, but it's not in dangerous areas. The one time that Traore (I think) ran into the box, Blind went to ground and got nowhere near the ball. They need to balance stretching the defence with width and getting numbers in the box.
Hargreaves deserves an award for all the spin in that half. United were defending well but they're giving the ball away early and offering nothing in attack, this is abysmal stuff from one of the bigget clubs in the world against a team of teenagers.
BT coverage awful. Hargreaves is making Alan Smith look impartial, loved his comment that Ajax have had too much possession, yes because what they really need is to let United have the ball! Mourinho doing what he does best boring the pants of everyone
Who is the plank commentating on the YouTube stream? It's hosted by BT Sport. Talks like he's commentating on a snooker game in a library.
A suggestion on The Mouser board that this means the same amount of CL gravy gets split 5 ways between the PL clubs if Liverpool beat Young Boys. Say it ain't so, Joe?
They would've done anyway. With or without CL football they can attract bigger names than everyone in the league bar perhaps Chelsea and City. And even that is only a 'perhaps'. CL will be a real challenge for the Moaning One to juggle. I for one couldn't care less if they are in it or not.
It's true! Sorry about the source but.... https://angryofislington.com/2016/0...ish-clubs-if-liverpool-win-the-europa-league/
I think they may have struggled to get top players as it would have been the 3rd time in 4 yrs that they failed to qualify for the CL.
