    with failure to control their players.

    Alex Song also charged with violent conduct for the stamp on Joey Barton.

    Fair enough, won't properly affect the clubs/player, no FA charges do these days, thoughts?

    The same charge has been dished out to Arsenal, as well as a separate one of serious foul play to Abou Diaby. History tells us that when anyone gets charged by the FA, they are invariably found guilty, we'll see where this one goes.

    Whey the FA has got something right for once! Both clubs will receive a fine and Song will get the ban he deserves!

    Between £10 and £20k depending on the severity.

    Arsenal getting what they deserve aswell, next two games Liverpool and Man Utd and they have sold Fabragas, Nasri is going to leave and Gervinho + Song will be banned! hahahaha exactly what they deserve!

    Why have we been charged? Why have Arsenal been charged? I'd possibly ban Song for 1 game but I'm not even sure that warranted anything. He only did it to wind Barton up. Failure to control our players? There were only two involved, the rest were peacemakers.

    Really? I dont know why they bother, even the bottom clubs wouldnt miss 20k. I'm not complaining though since we've just received one!

    I am shocked Barton didnt get banned, not because it was a red card offence but because every little thing he does he gets slaughtered for.

    The charge is for failure to control players. As far as that is concerned that fault really rests with Pardew and Newcastle since if there had not been a barton, there would not have been a barn fight ( period )

    hahaha heard all these bitter le arse fans! It's just because there seasons over already with there two best players leaving them and they will have two players banned for there next two games against there 'league rivals'! This is EXACTLY WHAT THEY DESERVE!

    Cant understand why we are doing this, there was clearly fault from both sides and the fine will not exactly hurt us financially.
