    He's trying damage limitation - 'It wasn't my fault' -YES IT WAS, YOU HANDED IN THE REQUEST. He's probably just realising he's burned his bridges and can't return to his home town, his family and his roots because of plain and simple greed. Don't listen to any propoganda from his freinds, they're all just worried coz he can't go out in Newcastle anymore and pay their drinks bills.

    For once I actually side with the fat cockney barrow boy and Lambarse, I truly think they have done all they could to keep him, or else why reject the bids at first?
    At least Pedro did it with some dignity and class & back when Liverpool were actually a force to be reckoned with.
    Currently a sideways move for more money and he's burnt all bridges for a return later in his career.
