Not overly surprised you regard the Tory party as "extreme left". <whistle>

Not correct. The present Tory party is concentrating on moving to the centre to pick up support from traditional Labour voters. This new care proposal could be described as a left wing solution to a difficult problem. No other government has had the stomach to address the long term care issues but this will be very unpopular with the traditional Tory voters. The PM is banking on the weakness of the opposition to get this through but it will make some Tory voters abstain. Hopefully it will be changed, it seems unfair that an individual's wealth could be wiped out apart from £100k. Expect the accountants to have a field day.

According to Damion Green 100k is enough to pass on. Can we expect inheritance tax to change so that the state takes anything above that amount? If that were to happen then the outrage seen rightly would be viewed differently.

I'm sure the Duke of Westminster would have something to say about that - or find another loophole.

Further to that, it's not really a handout to just their mates - seems it's a handout which will benefit a certain Phillip May.

The stench of corruption in high places... <grr>

You know that she has got it badly wrong when the Torygraph even has a go at her. Still it is all about her and not the party, so she will be dealt with in the normal way unless she has a runaway victory in the election.

Another new low, politicising the tragedy. Scum.

Can you imagine your children being taught by this pile of dog poo?

Do you know who Laura Stott is ? Do you know if she is a teacher ? It appears to be just an individual comment by an individual person - which does, however, ask a perfectly valid question, namely how does a privatized system respond to a national emergency ? Or is your comment at the end reserved for anyone else rather than the writer ? Have the Tories, or any other far right party, refrained from using tragedies for political gain ? I don't think so.

This board has reached an all time low - it's a wonder the clique is not claiming the Tories are behind these vile murders to try and halt their dip in the Polls.

How did the emergency services in New York cope with 9/11? How did the emergency services in Boston cope with the attack at the Boston Marathon? Just how many 1st responders were killed in NYC at 9/11?
Luckily the most privatised part of the NHS - GP Practices - where not called upon.
Any facts behind the Tories making political gains from the murder of children?
Still, I suppose you can always fall back on the usual - blame the Crusades and the British Empire.

Socialist France has a much more integrated system between private and national care than in the UK. Most of those trying to limit the use of the private sector in the NHS know very little about the subject. There is much waste in the NHS due to the non accountability of spending.

So, your insulting has reached an all time low. It is not up to me to defend BB, I am sure he can do this adequately. Why do you waste time with us on here if you hold us all in so little regard ? If you have nothing better to do in life than this type of keyboard warfare ( ie. from a safe distance) then I pity you. Just go and do it somewhere else.

Would you like to remove this comment SH? As you well know this is not what the site rules allow. If you choose not to, after consultation you might find it removed anyway, but I would prefer you to reconsider your statement and do the decent thing.

Will you also be asking those that posted that they could not condone the murder of children and blaming the government for Monday nights murders to also remove them? Those posting images to make political capital from the murder of children, will they be asked to be removed?
    Somehow, I don't think so.
Perhaps if you all took a short moment to think about those parents that will not be able to properly say goodbye to their beloved children because their small bodies were ripped apart by nails and screws you might just get your heads out of your sanctimonious hypocritical arses long enough to realise just how far from the real world you have drifted.
And no, I will not remove this either - so just ****ing ban me.
