Exactly, try it..it's great...don't get me wrong, the odd bad egg, slips..but you'll be hard pushed finding him talking about it amongst his peers and them cracking on making their Samosa triangles without batting an eyelid.

Cause, it's a ****ing mosque, not a TV station. The imam had been working with police for years to combat extremism. It's all part of the official report.

The only people saying 'Why aren't Muslims denouncing this etc.' are pig ignorant ****s like you. They are denouncing it. Cardiff Mosque denounced it this morning. Several others have as well. The Muslim Council of Britain condemned it. Do you want every Muslim in Britain to wear a placard saying 'we denounce this'?

This has got a bit circular tbh, and the initial point has been lost in the bickering.

    What's been noticeable in this thread for me has been 2 things;

    1. There's been an immediate disassociation by the Muslim lads to the people who carry out these attacks. However, there's also been a complete disassociation from them being Muslim and carrying out these acts under the banner of Islam. The logic behind this being that their interpretation of the Quran is incorrect. All of which is fair enough, but what isn't fair enough is denying that these people don't share that view and that for them, they are acting within Islam and their core goals are driven by the Caliphate etc. Therefore, to the rest of the non Islamic World, these are Muslims, they are representing Islam and they therefore do reflect on the entirety of Islam, denying that's how it is, is plain daft imo.

    2. There also seems to be more sympathy for the political aspect of these attacks by Muslims, pointing to Syria and Iraq as the reason for these people being as they are. This is viewed as being apologist in the wake of mindless acts of terror like the Manchester attack. Maybe the debate needs to be had in a more open manner, but immediately post such a hideous act like this, is definitely not the time.

    Grow up.

Who had said that it's 'okay' for terrorists to kill children ? Stop acting like a prick about it. I'm saying that NSIS calling Israel's actions and their deliberate killing of children 'a conspiracy theory' is no more helpful than somebody trying to justify what happened in Manchester.

Again with the insults......calm down ffs.
I asked why aren't they denouncing it, you said they were....so I conceded and said then maybe its because the message of condemnation isn't being spread wide enough.
You think the average mouth breather attends mosques?
Or will look up Islamic websites to look for denouncement speeches?
No, these things should be made mainstream, so the world, and the "pig ignorant ****s" can see for themselves that this is not what Islam is about.

They aren't, ISIS are kharijites. A caliphate is only legitimate if the caliph is elected by a majority of the ummah (all 1.8 billion Muslims worldwide). They don't represent Islam.

I agree with you Bope..this is what should be happening. It's essential that in the heat of the day people can mix and step into a Muslim's life to see it for what it is. It's paramount for the future of our country and the Govt should make it essential that TV companies spend some of their budget on this stuff instead of flooding our kids minds with reality TV bullshit which just takes them further away from the realities and responsibilities of us as a nation.

Priorities are mixed up in this country, it's superficial like ****. Some **** in deeper *****lia might be linked to a Chelsea player and every ****er would know about it before they woke up....yet people don't know how their neighbours live.

    Bullshit.

You think the average Muslim gives a **** what kafir think about their faith? I imagine most of them wake up, go to work or school, come home, eat, then go to sleep like the rest of us. They don't need to tell the world what their religion is about unless people want to convert. Just leave them the **** alone.

It's the Arabic for non-believer. Would you prefer the term infidel?

So would I, but you keep insisting Muslims exclusively should be responsible for condemning atrocities done in the name of Islam, even when it has nothing to do with them.

Where did I say that muslims are exclusively responsible for condemning these atrocities?
Everyone should do all they can.

I still don't see this as a reason to expect some extra condemnation on the condemnation Muslims have already given regarding this atrocity. I didn't feel responsible when a British nationalist killed Jo Cox in the name of Britain, nor 'speak out in my community' to condemn it. He was a **** that had nothing to do with me.
