evidence of what it's significant and Islamic? you do talk out of your arse... you make claims yet cannot back them up!
They're not my words or claims, they're the ones used by people that murdered in the name of Islam. I agree, they're deluded fools that have swallowed bullshit. It's surprising you don't seem to want to distance yourself from them, totally.
Nope, you decided that I need to go extra mile because it's not a Muslim country so thought I'll start with you...
Start what? Your argument is ridiculous. I suspect it's your victim complex is causing you to think that way.
Now now ladies can't you all get along . I can see where DMD was coming from originally with the this atrocity is awful but.... your country xxx. It should just be a condemnation of the atrocity with no justification required or reason why it was done (which the various muslim groups have if you been following BBC live reporting). Reason/justification of why it happened should be saved for a discussion further down the line into the causes of it which i'm sure there are many (from dumb people, easily indoctrinated people, people out for revenge, crazy people etc). DMD i don't know if you mean to do it but i think the discussion then went onto a muslims should go the further mile, they should codemn it (which i believe they have, do you need them to say it every day and write 100 lines everyday?) and apologise on other muslims but i think their analogy is pretty similar to when old tony sent us to war but i think you have decided to argue partly for the sake of arguing and partly because you are rather defensive about that piece. Anyway i've had my say so i won't get bogged down in this anymore (if it goes round with this circular argument). night all
The original point by you was that Islam condones the death of innocents and I said Quranic verses strictly forbid the killing of innocents. I'm not sure why you thought me lecturing jihadis on Islamic scripture would result in them stopping. They regularly engage in haram activities. They burned a Jordanian pilot when burning/cremation is strictly forbidden in Islam. Muslims know that ISIS are kharijites. Only a flag-waving EDL twat would insist Muslims go the extra mile in condemning **** they have no responsibility for.
No, I don't mean they have to walk around with sack cloth and ashes, and in the past, I posted links to various sites showing islamic protests against the murders acting under the same name. I also said that the poor media coverage of such events was shameful. However, some seem far more defensive of their version of the religion, than they are condemning of the murderers, and that leaves them lumped in, even if it is loosely. That being the reality, then there is a responsibility to themselves to go that extra mile to make the difference clear. They may feel aggrieved at having to do that, but it is simply the harsh reality, and a consequence of the murderers. Pointing out deaths caused by western military action, whether valid criticisms or not, come across poorly, and give the impression of offering some justification toward the murderers. If people want to ignore that, it's their choice, the consequences don't fall on me, and people are liable to be less sympathetic to those arguments. That's just human nature.
Nope. That wasn't the initial point at all. The nearest would be that some interpret it that way to justify their cowardly, murderous actions. I didn't think it would stop them, that's just you desperately trying to create an argument, having failed again with your others. I said what I did, simply to point out that your reply I was responding to was weak. It's not as weak as your feeble attempt to accuse me of being EDL though.
Here's one for a kick off. No doubt you'll whine about something in it, so you'll probably demand others. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2001/sep/30/terrorism.september113
So ****ing what? Both are true. I've posted Atta's last note. There are plenty of videos saying the same. You're going all over with these attempts at argument. Sadly, respect for the innocents slaughtered is getting further away from the topic.
